In december I participated in a 12 days giveaway swap. It was a lot of fun buying and then sending gifts to someone. Below are pictures of the things that I received from my partner, Kai. Enjoy. :)

 I received that package maybe a week before the swap was to start, but I was so excited that I decided to open the card. After seeing this awesome card, I knew the gifts were going to be good.

 Day 1

This adorable mug cozy that came with the mug. Super cute! And I love moose. :)

Day 2

TEA!!! I love tea and I look forward to trying these out, especially the sugar cookie one. I've never had a tea like that before. :)

Day 3

SUPER cute bracelet!

Day 4

CHOCOLATE. Need I say more… Funny story… I actually got my swap partner the same chocolate on the left, but in cookies and cream… but found it in my room later and I had forgotten to send it in the package. :(

Day 5

Really cute notebook and colored pencil. :)

Day 6

Love these things. The robots are so cute and the cat has so much culture!

Day 7

REALLY nice lip balm. Didn't get a picture of the actual jar. Love & Toast. Look them up!

 Day 8

I've never had a hair piece like this before, but it's so nice and I can't wait to use it!

Day 9

Really cool things that I hadn't really seen before so I might not have opened it the right way… lol. And an adorable ducky! I even took it to work with me and put it on my desk.

Day 10

Really nice candle holders that are crowns! Love the old feel to it!

 Day 12

Sweet puzzle books that came in a really cool bag! I had to include a picture of the bag cause I really like it. :)

The Bookish Wedding Tag

1. Which fictional character would you marry? Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. He is such a loving and interesting person. He's Mr. Darcy! Do I need to say much more? 2. Who would be your Maid of Honor or Best Man? Beth from Little Women. She would make such a great friend. 3. Which fictional world would you want to get married in? Harry Potter, Hogwarts! The location would be so beautiful with all of its old style charm. 4. Who would you pick to play the music at your wedding? Christina from Divergent. I think she would have a great taste. 5. Who would be your photographer? Samantha from All American Girl. Artsy types are the best. 6. Who would you sit at the singles table (and hope they'd fall in love)? Shay from Uglies & Andrew from Allegiant. I think he would be good for her. 7. Who would be your flower girl or ring bearer? Harry Potter's kids. A few weeks ago I re-fell in love with Florence + the Machine. I had bought their new album on iTunes when it came out, but never really got around to listening to it. I recently decided to listen to it (I don't remember why I got the urge). Let me tell you, I'm loving the album. It's amazing. What an amazing and talented artist. There are some clever and cool song lyrics on the album.

Dayne & Ana Engagement (12.18.10)

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take the engagement photos of a really cute couple, Dayne & Ana. He took her to see the Nutcracker and Warner Theater. Afterwords he lead her across the street to Freedom Plaza where there was a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, a nutcracker and the ring! A few others and myself were in hiding places to capture the moment that he proposed. Afterwards, we took some posed pictures. Enjoy. :)
